Hi there, I'm Cat!

First of all, I'm so excited you're here.

A little about me, I grew up in Grand Forks, went to college in Valley City, ND where I graduated with a B.S. in Biology, and moved back to Grand Forks afterwards to be closer to family. I love being an aunt to my niblings and being a 10 minute drive away is a joy I cherish deeply. I have four cats Betsy, Bella, Beamer, and Pippa, they are some of the sweetest little furballs who make everyday better. I'm always down for great food and fun mocktails, coffee, and traveling to experience other cultures. I love Star Wars, LEGO, animals, florals, and creating beautiful things.

Not only do I have a background in science but I have also worked in fine dining as a server, and it was there that I realized how much I thrive in helping people have incredible evenings and celebrating all that life has to offer. These days, I work full time as a blackjack dealer for Development Homes Inc., I like to say I work for charity in a weird way. I've always been a romantic, and I just love love. When thinking of my ideal career I've always landed on helping people in some way, so taking the stress off and letting you genuinely enjoy your event is always my goal. Between the laboratory and the dining room I've honed in on the skills to create beautiful, detailed events that will create memories to last long after.

Just before Halloween in 2022, I met my husband Jordan - for the second time - at our favorite bar, the Hub Pub. From the very beginning, he’s been incredibly supportive and since the fall of 2024 has taken a more active role in the business. It turns out the guy I found at the bar is a killer wedding and event assistant, plus a great (allergic) cat dad. His specialties: managing/distracting family members, groomsman wrangling and hype-up speech for the boys, fairy lights, and boutonnieres. His background in the medical field and restaurant management comes in handy, and he’s *very* good at picking things up and putting them down where we need.

He anticipates and executes the needs of the couple, bridal party, and guests, and I am always so grateful to have him by my side.

I am so lucky to have him be my partner in life and business and on May 23, 2026, it was OUR turn to be the bride and groom!

Meet Lexi

Lexi and Cat met in 2016 as freshmen in college at VCSU. Throughout the years, they've pushed each other to grow and are the platonic soulmates the other never knew they needed over ten years ago. She was also the best Maid of Honor I could've asked for!

From the very beginning, she has been a champion for this business, and I am forever grateful for her support and the facetimes when I just need to bounce ideas off of someone who has the same brain as me. Lexi has an incredible eye for detail and is fantastic at guest and time management. Whether it's organizing decor or processing flowers or working out a floor plan, she's always up to the task to bring the vision to life.

She lives in Fargo with her fiancé Joey and their cats Sam and Dean - yes, from Supernatural! In her (limited) free time she loves hosting game nights, cooking new recipes, golf, gardening, thrifting, and spending time with her boys! She also makes the best charcuterie boards.

Together Lexi and Joey own Fargo Residential Solutions, a property management and remodeling/restoration company. Joey is Cat's go-to guy for any builds from photo backdrops to seating charts to home items.
